Daddy (aka Dick) built this for the kids at our house we sold in June 2009. The house story is a long saga but the bones of it are...we built a house we never thought we would leave. It got to expensive to stay and we had a different opportunity open up to us. We put our house on the market and within a month it sold...and fell through...and sold...and fell through..and sold...and fell through. After two years on the market it finally sold for real.
Dick had built this little play house for the kids. They were so sad to leave it. We even thought about moving it with us. That never happened and so daddy promised the kids another play house.
After we closed on our house, daddy took a week's vacation and built this "tree" house. Complete with a hatch, which was the older kids dream. Lots of exciting things happen out there, including wars, floods, hurricanes and the like. The kids almost live in it and have slept out there every weekend, daddy too:) I am so thankful to have a husband that can build and make lots of our dreams come true. Thanks daddy, we love you!!!!
