All the chickens seem to be recovering from their stressful day.
As you can see they are not fans of the snow.
Stella is still alive and in our basement. Her wound was deep enough that you could see her "chicken". Poor baby.
She does seem happy with all the attention and treats that the kids are giving her.
The medicine that we sprayed on her is red. She is not bleeding! Her feathers are growing back and her "chicken" is scabbed over.
When you go down to visit her she gives gentle little clucks.
A sweeter chicken you will not find :)
