We had to say a sad good-bye to sweet Constance.
Two husky dogs came in our yard and killed two of our free ranging chickens. Two others were injured and one of them is recuperating in our basement.
Constance was Richard's special feather footed friend. He is taking his loss very hard.
We spent hours recovering all of the other chickens. Thankfully they seem to be recovering from their stressful day.
Hopefully we can too.
