ice cream

So maybe we are the only family that thinks of making ice cream in the winter. We grew up making it when the snow banks were huge...never ever in the summer.

when I took my grandma (89) a bowl, she was waiting with her spoon and she said to me "oh I was just looking at all the beautiful snow banks and wishing I could make some homemade ice cream

I guess it is a family thing :)
